‘YOURS FOR LIBERTY’ is a feature length film based on a true story about Abigail Scott Duniway, a suffragette who dedicated over forty-five years of her life fighting for women’s rights. After migrating with her family from Illinois to Oregon by way of covered wagon on the Oregon Trail, Abigail became a delegate for women’s rights traveling by stagecoach and lecturing with the likes of Susan B. Anthony to spread the word for equality. She wrote several novels and published ‘The New Northwest’, a weekly newspaper dedicated to human rights and issues pertaining to equal rights for women. Despite many obstacles, the most arduous being her own brother turned adversary, the powerful and influential Harvey Scott, Abigail won her life long battle for justice in 1912 when Oregon voters approved women’s suffrage. In 1913, Abigail was asked to sign the Equal Suffrage Amendment and became the first woman to register to vote in the state of Oregon, just two years shy of her death at age eighty-one. A unique aspect of this feature film is that Abigail is the Great Great Grandmother to Drea Hoffman, founder of Liberty Entertainment Group and writer of this screenplay.

‘TREASURES’ is a feature length film comedy about garage sales, the people who shop at them and the people who host them. It introduces several characters attending a garage sale and discovering a treasure. It is a glimpse into the unique qualities each individual has as well as what items they gravitate towards, also suggesting that each person is a treasure in and of themselves. As the saying goes “what ones trash is another’s treasure”. This film is unique in that it is partially scripted with heavy emphasis on improvisation and had up to five cameras rolling simultaneously so as to capture the spontaneity of the performances. No action is repeated in any one take. Most of the characters were created and suggested to each actor who then brought them to life right on the spot with no pre-rehearsal while other characters were inspired by some actors who wanted to create their own. ‘Treasures’ is sure to be a quirky, fun, and out there film for all ages to enjoy.
